As a result, digital transactions are facing the greatest danger. Statistics show that banking malware attacks have increased by 29 percent worldwide. In contrast, mobile spyware attacks increased by 112 percent. Cyber research institutes say malware attacks targeting the digital financial sector are adept at fooling several steps of multifactor authentication. As a result, it becomes easy for fraudsters to create fake login pages or fake social media sites of an organization to carry out fraud operations. It has been reported that the number of malware attacks targeting the registered phones of bank customers around the world is increasing. Attempts to steal customer information through fake apps are common. Cyber-attacks on the postal department are also incessant. There have been incidents of credit card information being stolen by sending an SMS to the customer informing them of a problem with the address of the parcel. The number of cyber fraud cycles and attacks in the digital financial sector is now doubling worldwide. It has indeed become a cause of apprehension and anxiety for all.
