Bios of workshop facilitators

DR. ZEENAT SULTANA
Pursuing a long career, putting her best and result-oriented efforts Zeenat Sultana has gained enough experience and expertise in conceptualizing programs and in leading the implementation of those, with her rich experience of over twenty years, she is leading and managing large-scale programs. With her wide range of experience, particularly in social development activities, she successfully served in many national and international organizations like JSI, IntraHealth International, CWFD; worked as Team Lead in the projects in partnership with Government Organizations, INGOs, UN organizations like UNICEF, UNESCO, UNHCR, and other funding agencies; and held senior positions in various national and international organizations. Throughout her long career, she focused on many national priority areas including reproductive health, family planning, child health and nutrition, adolescent reproductive health, HIV and AIDS, gender-based violence etc.
Managing different programs in diverse fields, she sharpened her skills and expertise in program planning and implementation, running advocacy and communication interventions, behavior change communication (BCC) capacity building, institutional system strengthening and BCC and advocacy strategy development. She was a technical expert in developing several national communication and advocacy strategies for national and international agencies. Her latest such involvement was during the development of the Comprehensive SBCC Communication Strategy for MoHFW.
Academically, Zeenat Sultana is a medical graduate from Bangladesh and has her master degrees MBA from North South University, Bangladesh, and MPH from AIIAS, Philippines. She also obtained international certificate courses on Project Management, Social Communication, and Leadership and Community Development approaches from USA, China, and Thailand.
