Bios of workshop facilitators

BADAL KRISHNA HALDER
BADAL HALDER is a Deputy Director (training) of BCCP. He has more than 24 years of experience in project implementation, training, capacity building, Social Behavior Change (SBC) and partnership approach with government, NGOs and other international and UN agencies. He has strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask and handles complex programming challenges. As a team leader Mr. Halder successfully designed and conducted a community outreach campaign with supervising field team to generate demand for agri-helpine, 'Krishi Jigyasha 7676' among the female farmers in 18 districts of Bangladesh under KATALYST.
He also successfully implemented and supervised the life skills programs on ARH called 'Nijeke Jano' for Barisal and Khulna division and provided technical assistance to design and plan for the partner organizations. As a focal person he designed and conducted a series of training interventions on IPC skills for frontline worker of UNICEF partner's organizations and key influencers for Rohingya response at Cox's Bazar in collaboration with JHU under UNICEF project.
Presently Mr. Halder is leading the community intervention on gender training and action plan development in 10 Upazilas for the local representatives and community under Women Empowerment Inclusive Growth (WING) project supported by UN Women.
He holds a master's degree in philosophy from the University of Rajshahi and have received several training/workshops from national/international organizations.
