Mehrin Ahmed Mahbub
Mehrin Ahmed Mahbub is a communication strategist with 20+ years of experience in international organizations and private sector. Currently, she is working at the World Bank as Senior External Affairs Officer. She joined the World Bank in 2008 and since then is leading the World Bank's communication and external affairs program in Bangladesh and Bhunan. She leads developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy for the World Bank in Bangladesh. She also provides technical and advisory support to client agencies in designing and executing communication strategies for select projects. She is also adept in managing social media communication. Her Key skills also include media relations, crisis communications, political economy analysis, and corporate communications. She holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. She also completed a course on Leadership and Reform Communication at the University of Southern California, USA.
