ABU HASIB MOSTAFA JAMAL
ABU HASIB MOSTAFA JAMAL, Deputy Director (Program), Bangladesh Center for Communication Programs (BCCP). He was responsible as Course Coordinator of BCCP's flagship program 'Advances in Strategic Communication' for a couple of years. He has cross-disciplinary experience in communication program design, management, execution, training and also specialized in media communication, partnership management, community engagement, emergency & humanitarian response. Recently, he led a project of BCCP as a Media Partner with Winrock International, funded by the US Department of Labor on Child Labor in the dry fish sector. Currently, he is leading a project on Community Awareness for Emergency Multi-Sector Rohingya Crisis Response Project (EMCRP) under LGED supported by World Bank.
Besides this, he has contributed to the successful implementation of a number of projects under various donors/INGOs as Pathfinder International, Care Bangladesh, Directorate of Primary & Mass Education, Chamonix International, MSH, USAID, UNDP, UNFPA, US Embassy, UKAID; the project's issues were various like:- Health & Family Planning, Primary Education, STD & HIV Prevention, Student Leadership Development, Promoting Equality in Madrasa Student, Training Management for Pharmacist on Model Pharmacy & Model Medicine Shop, Market Place Promotion for Women Entrepreneurs etc.
He attended various international conferences/events for scientific paper presentation & publication, facilitation of organizational information center at Penang-Malaysia, Nusa Dua-Indonesia organized by Wessex Institute, UK, JHU-CCP, Baltimore, USA. Participated in the 2021 Global Tobacco Control Leadership Program, held from June 15 to July 01, 2021. Organized by IGTC, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Baltimore, USA. He has completed an advanced certificate course on Understanding Development from the Department of Development Studies under the University of Dhaka. He has an MPH degree and also holds an MSS degree.
