HPN BCC eToolkit for field workers

The HPN BCC eToolkit for Field Workers was developed to manage and maintain a comprehensive digital repository of coordinated and harmonized HPN BCC knowledge and resources for the field workers (FWs). The eToolkit for FWs (http://etoolkits.dghs.gov.bd) is a digital library of high-quality print and audio-visual SBCC materials that field workers and other service providers can use as counseling aids. The HPN BCC eToolkit for FWs is organized in three section: health, family planning and nutrition which further divided into sub-sections and the materials are updated annually.

This Toolkit serving as ready reference to facilitate field workers day-to-day SBCC activities as a digital library to supplement their own knowledge, including providing necessary technical guidance as how well they can mobilize community and counsel individuals addressing their health needs. For ease of use this digital resource is available in different formats: online, offline and android. eToolkit is widely disseminated through MoHFW system and more than 5000 field workers (Health Assistant, Family Welfare Assistant and Community Health Care Provider) of MoHFW were received orientation on use of this resource. The use of this resources is also monitored online.

 

eToolkit for SBCC Program Managers and Planners

This Toolkit (http://etoolkits.dghs.gov.bd/toolkits/bangladesh-program-managers) is for policy makers, program managers, service providers, advocates, and others. It provides links to guidelines, research, curricula, communication materials, job aids, case studies, and other tools to plan, manage, deliver, evaluate, and support Health, Population and Nutrition services.

The eToolkit is serving as a ready reference to facilitate day-to-day SBCC activities, including providing necessary technical guidance to central and field-level managers.

 

eLearning course

The eLearning courses (http://bdsbcc.org/)  are available for the SBCC program managers and field workers who are interested in enhancing their skills in SBCC. These courses, the first of their kind in Bangladesh, provide hands-on exercises, videos and illustrations to help program managers and field workers to get the most out of their learning experience.

The available courses for the Program Managers and Planners are: Message and Material Development, and Introduction to Monitoring and Evaluation for SBCC Programs. These two online courses are available both in Bangla and English version.
